I think the best-case scenario for a Meal Ticket night is that we find a dish we want to make regularly. And we both found one with Syrian night. Jenny made another batch of Baba Ganoush two days later, and Manoushi bread is the easiest, tastiest flatbread recipe I’ve encountered so far.

Baba Ganoush is, to us, eggplant hummus. It went quickly.
Muhammara. Not just fun to say, but also fun to eat!

We opened a pomegranate to turn the sweet juices into molasses for the Muhammara.

The meat is heavily spiced with cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
It was delicious. Middle Eastern food has been on a winning streak with us lately.
